About

London-based software engineer with a background in energy trading and quantitative development. I build full-stack products, ship web and mobile apps, and help businesses go AI-native.
When I'm not coding, I'm probably flinging a kettlebell around.

Work

soro
ṣọrọ̀ means “speak” in Yoruba. A fully-local, on-device voice dictation app for macOS. Hold a key, speak into any app, get clean text at your cursor. Completely open source, no cloud, no account required.

MacBook Pro (2023)
Gives me more creative freedom than anything else I own.
Casio F91-W
Tells the time.
Kettlebell
Full body, three times a week. Every circuit has the same DNA: a hinge, a press, a pull, something rotational, and something you want to strengthen or repair. The movements change. The structure does not. Gets you lean, improves your cardio, and builds functional strength. All in one tool. I'm genuinely insufferable about this.
Fully Jarvis Standing Desk
I cannot sit still. A standing desk helps me stand still.
Vinyl collection
Who needs Montessori toys when you have your dad's vinyl collection? I grew up building dens in my living room with his vinyls. Maybe from this, I am the lover of sound I am today. The collection keeps growing and I own a drop in the ocean of what's out there.
As of July 2026, my primary rotation includes Alfa Mist, KeiyaA, Anysia Kym, Navy Blue, Mach-Hommy, Liv.e and Michael Jackson.
Kindle Paperwhite (2019)
Fits in the pocket of every pair of trousers I own. This might be one of the best investments I have ever made. There is really no excuse not to read.
Black and white mode on an iPhone
Not really a possession. But black and white mode kills the dopamine loop. Makes my phone more of a tool. I value creation over consumption.
Writing
I love to write. Formal education gave me structure for it. Once that ends, you realise no one creates the opportunity for you. You have to. This is me doing that.
The majority of my writing is privately spilled ink in a journal, but below is me writing in the public domain.
Reads
Material that has had a level of effect on me.

Nassim Taleb
This book taught me that skin in the game does not tell you if someone is right. It just tells you how much of a claim they have to what they are saying. How seriously you should take what somebody says. Shows up in all facets of life.

Ryan Holiday
I have been meaning to re-read this for a while. The fact that I keep putting it off while knowing I should is, I think, exactly the book's point.

Naval Ravikant
Lots of nuggets in here. Wealth building is mandatory. It is not about having the most money in the bank. It is about being able to wake up any day and say, "What do I want to do today?" And then go and do it. So goes, and repeatedly, with no adverse effect on your life or anyone else's.
Services
Freelance Developer
Most people have the next million-pound idea. I'm the one that builds it. With over 5 years of expertise building applications for hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and investment banks, I'm literally no stranger to building said million-pound ideas.
AI Consultant
Most small businesses think they are using AI well, just because they ask a chatbot to write their emails and generate images. There is immense opportunity in rethinking how a business actually runs around what AI can do. I work with small businesses to find where that opportunity lives and build it into how they operate.
